There was never a good outcome for the protagonists in my mechanical sculptures; their demise was inevitable. Sometimes this would be quick and definitive – a plate smashing on the floor – while others were subject to slow, repetitive insults that gradually wore them down. Goats, camels, dogs and humans all featured in the sculptures. And even non-human objects such as a ball had a consciousness projected u on them.
